Paypal EU limit personal/business
 

Hi

I sell on ebay and my paypal account has reached the first soft eu limit stage i believe im around the £1,500 mark

I can still withdraw etc just getting the warning to give information to avoid a hard limit

My question is..... if i change my ebay seller account to my new paypal business account.. same address etc just registered as a business with new business email... will any takings on this account bump me over the limit on my first account or are they seperate?

If you are just upgrading the paypal then you'll still need to provide the docs and it'll still be registered as receiving 1.5k. It won't reset.

Is the limit of your 'new' PayPal lifted already?

if you did not get asked for docs yet, then you can rest it. If you got asked, then you have to provide or it gets countdown to limited .

if it is resting, you can disconnect it and add a different paypal. It is what is collected up in paypal that makes up the limits, it is nothing to do with the ebay acc sales.

If you've hit the limit and they've asked for the details you'll need to provide it. There's no way out.

But if you haven't been asked for anything yet, you could just leave it dormant and sell on another account.

I wouldn't start attaching new PayPals to this eBay. It's all likely to get linked and if one goes down, they're all likely to go down too.

currently on £1653 received and not triggered the request for docs yet.
Probably something to do with exchange rates.
Wont be long I expect
