Hi all

I see a message on Ebay UK saying that from 1st of October UK sellers will need a German VAT number to sell to German customers, at least that's how I understood it.

Correct?

seen this before and spoke to the accountant he was amazed to be honest but said ebay/amazon etc can literally do as they please ,

Be it UK, Germany etc., so long as you are selling below the threshold, you don't need a VAT number.

Always best to speak to an accountant to clarify these matters.
