Question about product pictures taken from Android phone

Hi Stealth Family,

Hope you're all doing well.

I was hoping some members here would shed some light into my query with regard to taking new pictures on an Android phone used many times in the past with old eb account.

I'm planning on taking a couple of product pictures for my new account on my android device. These are obviously new listing pictures. I've already used this very same phone to take pictures for my previous eb account in the past.

The current eb account is a stealth account under ''new windows user'' and the usual stealth procedures had been taken too.

Question is would this flag up anything If I take the product pictures with this same phone (used so many times in the past to take eb pictures for listings)
and then upload via ''new windows user account'' for new eb stealth account?

If doing that I obviously don't need to use bachpurifer, correct?
Because these are going to be completely new set of pictures and not using any past listing pictures from old account.

Is this doable, at all?

Thank you all for reading and for your input.

Peace!

I can't see you having any problems with pictures. Perhaps change your camera settings if you are paranoid about it. You can keep the same size ratio but increase/decrease the pixel count.

Thanks meloncoly. I'll give that a go.

Any other tips, guys?

Do not use the same phone, eBay tracks the exif data on images and if you have that picked up it’s a red flag, one or two red flags and PayPal eBay will start looking into it.

Hello Dean2112,

Thanks for your input, buddy.

If I was to use the same phone am I right in thinking it would be wise to use batchpirifier to give the images a good clean?
This should prevent the red flags.

Although the images and product are new and never been used on eb before.

Correct - batchpurifier or exifdata - 2 examples

You'd use batchpurifier to clear the exif data. There's no "or". :suspicious:

So long as you remove the exif data, you can reuse the images.

If you want to go the extra mile, for separate accounts selling same item, use a different backdrop for the images. That way a manual review will never link the accounts.

I use the same images across my accounts. Never had an issue. Theres a lot they 'can' do but everything takes up resources which costs money and causes delays and poor end user experience. Its a balancing act. If they really wanted to they could still link images after you remove exif data by counting the pixels .. ebay only want to kick you off if they think your doing something wrong .. using the same image as 'someone else' isn't wrong unless they report you for copyright. Thats the only time ebay will bother you. GoPro is one company who done like loaning their images lol
