Amending my current ‘delivery address’?
 

Hello All

New stealth ‘Buyer Only’ account running fine for 3 months.

However, I need to amend my current ‘delivery address’ by adding an extra line of detail to the address (adding a development name), due to a purchased item not getting delivered. My ‘primary address’ is not being changed.

I just wanted to check with those here in the know, whether making a small change to my ‘delivery address’ will start any warning bells ringing with ebay/paypal e.g. requesting a proof of delivery address document?

Currently my delivery address is structured as follows: (these are not my real details)

1. Stealth name >> XXXXXX
2. House no and Street name >> 27, The Court
3. Dependent Locality name >> Duddeston
4. County >> West Midlands
5. Postcode >> B7 4NG

I want to add a ‘development name’ to my delivery address as follows:

1. Stealth name >> XXXXXX
2. House no and Street name >> 27, The Court
3. Development name >> Oakridge Park
4. Dependent Locality name >> Duddeston
5. County >> West Midlands
6. Postcode >> B7 4NG

Buyer only accounts don't go through the same scrutiny as seller accounts. You will be fine.

Agreed, that won't cause any problems.

You can just add the variation as a new shipping address the next time you checkout, and that's the address the seller would see.

If its just a buyers account then they are not too bothered

You can add the extra line if you want or you can not add the extra line. eBay will know its the same address, but they wont care :)

Many thanks All for your feedback.

Went in and selected [Edit] and simply added the extra address line to ebay and paypal delivery address and selected [Save]. Both changed sucessfully.

I always like to double, double check with the good folks here, before I possibly drop a bollic!

No harm in that

For the most part buyers account can get linked all they want without issues just make sure to keep it as a buyers account

For the last 17 years Ebay has been totally buyer friendly .After school kids were un screwing taps from school toilets and selling them on ebay back in the day ..The power totally shifted towards the buyers
