How do YOU manage multiple accounts?
 

I've created my first stealth eBay and Paypal, and sold my first item today. But I wanted to sell across a few different accounts just incase one gets taken down.

- Do you have a different user account on your computer for each profile?

- Do you have to change VPN each time you log back into each different account, or do you just change VPN once and log into the accounts simultaneously?

- How do I prevent myself from running out of bank accounts?


Please Note: I've bought the eBay stealth guide last year, took some notes, but wasn't willing to pay £15 per month, so no longer have access.

Different user accounts is one way of running multiple stealth.

Each account needs its own ip address, you can either dedicate a static ip to each account or use something like a dongle which will give a different IP almost everytime you plug it in.

Its not likely you will ever run out of bank accounts, there are so many banks. You just need to open accounts slowly with different banks if you think you will need a lot. Do this over a good period of time.

If you plan to manage a large number of accounts then I would recommend using something like Virtual Box or VMware to run a fresh computer for each account.

So you keep note of what IP address is used for each account, and log into that exact IP when going onto that exact account?

The current VPN I use doesn't let me choose a city, only country, so this may be where I'm getting confused!

You don't have to login with the exact IP address each time, Just don't use the same IP address to login to different accounts

Thanks. Would the account not flag as suspicious if my IP address kept pinging in different parts of the UK?

Not really as long as cookies are kept in place for the particular eb/pp account

Personally I am using 10 windows user accounts, each one with it's own VPN.

But now I start switching to VPS.

By the way anyone can recommend a good UK VPS service tested for eBay / PayPal ?

I use firefox portable with a different folder for each account and its been working great for the past few months. Easy to manage, no logging in and out of user accounts. You just have to remeber to change you ip before going into each account folder

I have 10 different Chrome profiles setup, each with a different IP/VPN associated. I have 10 different Chrome tabs open and can access each seller account as needed. All from the same computer. No issues for over a year.

Sorry to clarify: mine aren't tabs, that are unique instances of Chrome. So no logging in and out also.

I came on to ask about firefox/chrome profiles, mainly to save time/space backing up. Can anyone else confirm this setup is working for them?
