Just brought IPBURGER VPN, all windows users account showing same ip
 

Hi Guys,

This might sound like a dumb question, but I just brought Ipburger VPN and I have to windows user accounts but the on both user accounts the same IP address is showing, is this normal or do I have to use the kill switch?

It's probably your local IP you're seeing.

Have you done a "show my IP" google search on both user accounts to see your public facing IP?

The IP Burger VPN will be a single IP address you paid for. You need to pay them for more than 1 ip address.

Ah I get you James, so basically I need to make sure to to hit the kill switch before I change user accounts, or ebay will see it.

If you have 1 VPN then it will always be the same IP. It’s a dedicated single IP so it won’t change

If you want to run 5 accounts then you need 5 VPNs, which each have their own dedicated IP

No the IP has changed it's with ipburger, however when I switch to another windows user account it's still showing me the same ip, hence I need to hit the kill switch and manually switch on and off (AND NOT FORGET)

The IP you have from the dedicated VPN will not ever change. It’s a static set IP.

If you want a second IP, then you need to get a second VPN package

I don't think he wants two IPs anyway. There was some confusion. He meant to say he has TWO user accounts on his PC.

He created a second user account solely for the purpose of stealth ebay/paypal. But when he logs in to his normal account that he doesn't intend to use eBay on the IPBurger VPN is still active.

So yes you need to use the kill switch and disconnect.

I normally connect, when i'm done just disconnect immediately before doing anything else.

It's become routine.
