Does Any Body know How Refunds Work On Paypal?

If I was to send a Refund to a customer and the funds would come out my bank account. Would it be a instant refund to the customer with the money going into his account? Or would it take a few days for it to transfer from my bank account into his paypal account?

Instant refund if you are fully verified. Make sure you use the refund option on the specific transaction so you get the fees refunded and the buyer doesn't get charged to receive the funds.

So it would be instant then? and how long would it take to come out of my account? And why would you need it to be verified to do this?

Yes it is instant to the buyer - takes 3 to 5 days for the funds to leave your bank account. If their aren't sufficient funds in your bank account paypal will attempt to charge your back up funding source (card). If this fails you will end up with a negative balance and possible account limitation.

You need to be verified to make instant payments from your bank account - if your not you won't get the option.
