Multiple profiles in one instance of firefox/chrome

Does anyone have experience with using multiple profiles in one instance of firefox/chrome? What is your experience?

Currently running all mine on portable browsers but looking to cut my storage space down.

Please only reply if you have actually done this, adding guesswork and opinions based on nothing adds nothing to the thread.

thanks for the replies in advance!

It's shown up that way for me since I installed Firefox developer version a long time ago. I deleted dev version shortly thereafter but the profile switcher stayed. Probably an option in settings somewhere.

You would just go into appdata and transfer all of the files that make up your FF profiles over to the same directory on the new computer.

Do you happen to know how to permanently change the save location for the profiles? I want to save them on my USB but every time i create another its automatically choosing my desktop as a location. I keep forgetting to change it, and there is no option to change it afterwards without deleting and starting again

You could run a portable copy of firefox with multiple profiles from the flash drive.

Other than that, :noidea:, but I'm sure there's a way to do it without portable FF.

over 100 accs with chrome profiles (half of them are banned already) with chrome profiles with omegaswitch proxy (each acc has its own ip).

never got linked or lost many accs at once (sometimes 2-3 at once but never more than that).

Rule number 1: never enter on the mail unleast you know EXACTLY what you are doing

Yes, that's fine.

There's no need to turn off your laptop between accounts.. but there's nothing wrong with doing that. All you really need to do is go into your connection settings and make sure you've disabled one dongle and enabled the other.

You shouldn't need 2 dongles either. Most networks will give you a new IP everytime you unplug and plug it back in. try it www.check2ip.com check your ip, unplug the dongle and plug in again. F5 to refresh the page. Ip should have changed
