Worldwide shipping vs accounts on each eBay website

Does it make sense to make a separate account to list specifically on the .uk eBay? Or does enabling worldwide shipping on the USA site effectively do the same thing?

Can't you just list on .co.uk?

You could have one listing made on eBay.com that offers worldwide shipping. Then you could make another listing on the same account, on the .co.uk domain, and see which does better.

May pick up a few extra customers. Depends on what it is, how difficult it is for the country to source, how bad they want it etc. After that buyers shy away from long shipping times and go local.
