Problem when creating new UK Ebay account
 

Hello,
almost everytime I create new ebay and I try to list an item it doesn't allow me...it gives me a message that I`m not allowed to list and that my limit now is 0 GBP 0 Listings per month and to chat with the support live chat to increase my limit...after I speak with the live chat they fix the issue they create the limit.

This has been ongoing with UK accounts for the past three weeks. Just a bug in the system

I had a similar problem with one opened last week. It kept saying I needed to create a seller account which I had done. Going in circles! I requested a call a call back and the rep was in the US. Always great when it's one of them and they are based on the West coast. A quick chat about the rubbish weather here compared to there. I played dumb and got the limits sorted to a reasonable level and a few tips on what to do for increasing the limits next month.

Now they told me that they have an ungoing issue and they're trying to solve the problem...it'll probably past one more month until they fix it...however when you contact live chat support they increase the limits with no problems, they ask the following questions:
What items you're going to sell, do you have a supplier or personal;
What price will be most of the items;
What delivery service you're going to use;
What payment method you're going to accept (paypal, debit card etc);

and after you answer those questions they increase the limits, they increased mine to 4000gbp and 100 items per month.

I been opening 10 accounts every day this month, had no issues must be a bug as Jas said, just give it time. ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN DAY

10 a day? I feel suicidal making more than 5 a day, especially at this time of year! :)

I use browser automation now to create mine directly from an excel file of details. You only need to step in for the phone verification

10 accounts a day that's insane, how are you able to do that just by stealth accounts?

I was expecting this from previous experience of requesting but the rep only asked me my name! Some small talk and my limits were sorted with an offer of advice y email of how to run the account and how to raise limits again in a month.
