Why do brands report you for using their pictures on ebay?
 

A side from they took the photos, their copywright - get that.

But if i list their product for sale i have aquired the product directly or indirectly via their supply chain. Anything that sells that product is is profiting them down the supply chain too.

Why do they report you to ebay? What do they have to gain? Two companies i''ve had issues with. GoPro and JBL. If i stop selling their products in exchange for a rivals who is less of an a**e guess who looses out there GoPro and JBL.

I mean JBL's products are crap anyway they need all the sales they can get :comp5:

Because they don't like eBay sellers watering down their brand by using their stock photos to push phakes. It makes the whole brand look bad.

Real JBL speakers aren't all that bad but the copies coming from China are sh!t. And eBay has been flooded with phake JBL's for the past 3 years. So I'm really not surprised to hear that JBL is finally doing something about the rampant abuse of their photos/reputation.

The ones i have for sale are originals, i've now took my own photos .. nothing to stop Mr China doing the same and the phakes go on

Wasn't accusing you of anything - just explaining the manufacturer's reasoning for not wanting their photos used by random eBay sellers.

Are you selling your item as new or used?
if new,they prefer their products to be sold from their dealers,not Ebay wannabe weekend warriors.
