About 15/20% of my parcels get “lost”

And an additional 15/20% are delivered late

MY late delivery rate is at 15%, don’t want this account going down

I conatacted ebay chat and they couldn’t give a toss they won’t remove the defect

Is this happening anywhere else

With Royal Mail at my best I was spending £500/600 a day on postage alone during Xmas time and parcels were being delivered

These idiots my Hermes can’t even handle 20 parcels a day without the staff nicking them and delivering them late

My Hermes suck. I never use them. Post office is your best bet. Safe.quick. always deliver.

Yup they do. There are good Hermes drivers, make no mistake, the vast majority are probably honest, but in South London, where I come from, I know a few ex-Hermes and Amazon drivers. They used to have competitions who could lift the most stuff. They get paid peanuts, and therefore have absolutely no loyalty to the company, and after a crap couple of days, it stops people even remotely caring.

They are awful, but then they are also the cheapest!

Im sure you already know this but deffinetly dont send anything that can be identified. Wrap items in parcel wrap so you cant see contents.

I had a hunch that items were going missing based on the cost to post. Started sending everything under £200 on a non compensation basis and have had WAY less missing items. The savings on cost more than cover any issues, an added bonus especially as they are great at excluding items from compensation.

All that said i think once you start sending 20+ parcels you are always going to have issues with any courier.

I was sending at my peak 100 parcels a day with Royal Mail 1st Class Signer For

That was about £500 a day however I’ve changed product lines as that was a seasonal product and profit margins are a lot slimmer now

And anyone reading this new AVOID MyHermes entirely my late defect rate is going to practically kill my account

Anyone have any tips to make the late delivery rate go down it’s currently on 15% so 60/450 orders approximately

MyHermes did give me £200 today though in to PayPal account

But That’s going towards there end of month bill lol

never had one go missing, but I do not send 100s a week, nowhere near.
But used them many years.

watch drop off dimensions or weight though or they hold the package ransom.

I prefer the insurance policy of RM though for breakages and what they will pay out for, hermes excludes so much.

Really? RM only pay what YOU paid your supplier for (if its a business ebay account), its an utter nightmare.

So you buy it for £3, sell it for £30, RM lose or damage it, they will only pay out £3.

True, its easy enough to fluff, but still a PITA.

No, I mean hermes exclude a lot more than RM does.
