| Londonboy17 | 08-15-2019 07:58 PM | uaccount money missing Hi its been 8 months I am waiting for my money which was sent to Uaccount. Now they saying they returned the money but PayPal cant find it. here is the message i have got from Uaccount-
Thank you for your message.
PayPal returns are not processed via Faster Payment so there is no FPID to provide.
The funds will have landed directly in PayPal's account: 23-52-** 789595**
They will need to locate a batch payment of £***** which arrived with them on **/**/2019
Your payments are within this batch so PayPal will need to locate it and attribute your payments directly to your account.
The funds are no longer with us and are now with PayPal.
Many thanks

Pathos | 08-21-2019 09:17 AM | Re: uaccount money missing From my experience of UAccount,I suggest this is more an error / intentional error on their side.
If this is a Stealth account, then PayPal will see the name on the refund anyway and will no doubt limit your account because of this.
If its a genuine account, then FOS is your best bet.
Do you have email addresses for both companies, you could start an email chain with both copied in explaining that each is blaming each other. It may help. |

I think since uaccount said it is no longer with them, he should pester paypal for the money | Uaccount are regulated being a bank, PayPal are not. |

Paypal are licenced as a bank. You can complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service like any other regulated financial institution. |
I already report UAccount to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Let's see what happen now. |

PayPal are not actually licenced in the UK, its an European licence, in Luxemburg. While you can complain to the FOS about them, it is on a type of 'conversational agreement' terms. The FOS can be effective with PP, but often they merely 'give up' if it becomes too complicated or recieve any counter evidence from PP. Considering this, is a Stealth account, it won't take long for the FOS to walk away with a PP complaint. It's not actually a formal complaint, its more a 'grumble' that FOS try to do something about that requires minimum input.
Uaccount however, have to respond and take the neccesary steps and as it will be a legititmate bank account, there is a lot more weight to have Uaccount converse with PP and get it sorted out.
Stick with Uaccount, you'll get more results. |

Thanks for acknowledging what I said was correct. | Bless.
What you said was initially incorrect, and your 'complaint' wont ever have any traction, so its irrelevant.
Still waiting for your citation as what you have provided is not a citation, its merely an opinion. |

Read OP's opening post once more.
In your attempt to rubbish my factual observations you're missing what we've been told and have seem many times on this forum...or do you think that funds have never been returned to paypal before.
I appreciate you're a noob on this forum, but if you take the time to read it you'll discover OP's issue is commonplace. | I appreciate you have anger issues, which is shown through many of your posts, hence why you recieve warnings from the moderators on a regular basis, but you do need to learn self control before you begin typing your random colloquial thought streams.
There is no evidence other than the exact same response from both parties, therefore your opinion, you represent as fact, has no grounding without a published citation. Please quote your factual citation as requested previously.
Clue - there isn't any citatation to show, because it dosent exist, as currently, there is no factual evidence as to where the money is.
As Uaccount are heavily regulated unlike PayPal, making a formal issue out of the matter against Uaccount will be far more advantegous and will get better results, quicker. If at the end of it PP admit they got it wrong, that is great, but currently they don't. |

Best of luck. I've had a complaint in with them about uaccount 4 months. Nothing of any value has come about yet
£1200 down thanks to UC**Ts
Also them telling you there is no payment ID of any sort is a load of bull, How is paypal supposed to identify it with zero ID as yours when they are also claiming its been bundled with others money. |
james_112233 | 08-31-2019 08:03 AM | Re: uaccount money missing I genuinely believe UAccount have returned the funds. When I worked in sales ledger many moons ago that's exactly what I had to do, reconcile payments and allocate them to accounts. So what they are saying sounds legit to me.
It's Paypal that know you are a stealth user so deliberately keeping the money or beating around the bush without addressing the issue.
Just like how they are refusing to release payments after the 180 day hold recently. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:11 PM. | |
