Paypal requesting for two IDs
 

Have anyone been in this situation? I uploaded a passport already, now they are requesting me to upload another ID. Should i upload the same passport?

It is a legit ID. Now i do not want to make a counterfit one as this may get the account permanently banned

Issue is i do not have two IDs. Maybe i will do a drivers licence

If thr address on your drivers license matches the address on your account, send it and explain that you have sent your passport and the only two forms of ID you have is the two you have already sent, adults only have drivers license and passport anyway so im not sure what the third ID would be.

If you have any bills or bank statements with the name/address/details on that match your account then send those also, even if they haven't asked for them. It shows you are keen to let them know who you are and that your legit.

Only send them if the details match your account.

Do you owe them money or your account under investigation?

If you do they might be just getting every form of ID from you before they hit the ban button.

This has happened to me before, it's usually because the system doesn't know you've already uploaded it.

The way I got around it was by speak to PayPal and that's when the adviser told me that yes, he could see that I had already uploaded the ID and put me in to the queue to have my docs reviewed manually

However, I wouldn't recommend calling PayPal unless it's a last resort - it will likely lead to a more thorough inspection of your account
