yes, but you just need to be careful to check if you received the money, some buyers just buy it without making the payment.

If you are talking about ebay.de, yes, it is completely impossible o list if you have a new PayPal account. It's really pathetic after 16 days now.

Same problem on all my stealth accounts registerd after August, 19. Doesn't matter ebay.de co.uk or .com. I think we all should bombard ebay support with this problem. So they will found a solution quicker.

I have made so far almost 20 accounts and all got same problem, today i received email from ebay, they told i should not use immediate payment, when i remove it, they simply restrict your account and asking from more verification, once i done verification on one account, the removed restriction but after i listed again they suspended it cause i dont have paypal on file.

Also i have bought stealth from forum but after i started to list, they did same, restrict, than asking verification, after verified they suspended cause they cant find paypal linked to ebay, but i have already linked ebay, paid ebay fees, bought an item using paypal.

one of my account was verified after uplaoding docs. and PAYPAL was verified by 2 small deposits.

Paypal linked into the Ebay, the same problem didn't go.
So I just listed on item with payment only accept bank trnasfer.

Thank you for writing back to eBay with regards to using the "Require Immediate Payment" option. I will now help you further regarding this. Please pardon me for the length of the email.



I have reviewed the account and kindly allow me to inform that this is a known issue wherein our seller members are facing inconvenience using "Require Immediate Payment" option and we are aware about this. We have heard about similar issues recently from other sellers as well and I’m extremely sorry for the inconvenience it has caused to you.



We are sending as many samples as possible at the earliest for our technical team’s review to get to the root cause of the issue. Rest assured, the technical team is already working on this on priority and we will resolve the issue on this as soon possible.



Brodie, meanwhile, I would like to reassure you that as our seller member you are always protected under our seller protection policy and would request to kindly go ahead and listing the items without "Require Immediate Payment" for now.



In case if the buyer is not making the payments, you always have the leverage to file the "Unpaid Item Case". Once this case is filed, we send repeated reminders/notifications to the buyer for payments and if they still do not pay, you can go ahead and close this case as "Payment not received" and all the Final Value Fees charged will be immidielty cancelled by the system.



Once the UPI case is open, the same can be closed after 4 days from the date of opening till 36th day of the opening of case, choosing the reason whether the payments have been received the or not.



For your future reference, I have hereby shared the steps to file this case (for desktop site):



1. Click on My eBay present at the top right of most eBay pages> Account

2. Click on 'Resolution centre'

3. Under the 'I sold an item' section', select the 'I haven't received my payment yet' option and click on Continue

4. Enter the item number and click on 'Continue'

5. Submit



I would also like to take this opportunity and inform that we at eBay take such buyers seriously who do not care to pay for the items after purchasing.



When the Unpaid item case is closed as Payment not received, the buyers account will be heavily impacted with an unpaid item strike and the Final Value Fees charged will also be credited back. This unpaid item strike keeps such non-paying buyers in check.



Rest assured, we are already looking into the matter of "Require Immediate payment" option and should be resolved soon. Meanwhile, as mentioned above you are always protected against unpaid buyers.



I hope you can understand our case and appreciate your kind cooperation regarding this matter. It is in times like these that we badly need your support as we do get really concerned that our customers are not having a good experience as we always aim for.

Why need to guess what happened, why not contact ebay and ask them what is happening ? Of course they will send to paypal or try to find problems in your account, but dont accept their stupid answers, ask for detailed answer and solution and boooom, you have answer -

Ebay answer after 1,5h conversation by phone, repeating same question at least 30 times:

Hi XXXXX, thank you for reaching out. I want to let you know that I have sent a report to our Tech Team and they have confirmed this is a known issue and we are currently working on resolving the issue. Bear in mind that this could take a few days to be resolved but as soon as I have further news for you, I'll be in touch immediately. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding of the situation and for the screenshots you send, they were very helpful when filing the report. I'll be in contact very soon and I have a great day! 🙂~ Cinthia

Understood and we do want this going for you. However it may take a bit of time. The team has pinpointed to fix the issue within 60 days however most likely be done sooner. Then again, in rare occasions it may be delayed. Because of this I don't have an exact date I can promise you. I do apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience. ~Chu

It has nothing to do with the eBay age; it only affects accounts that you use new PayPal accounts with. So if you use a 1 month old PayPal wih a new eBay, it will work just fine.


Most eBay sites will let you list just fine if you untick immediate payment but Germany won't let you use new PayPal accounts at all. It's been 22 days now, which is just absolutely disgusting.

Have the same trouble... But my acc has this trouble only on ebay.de... With "require immidiate payment" or not the same trouble. I can sell from ebay.com, but not on ebay.de. For somebody it could be a solution, but not for me. Please, post here any news.

I have been experiencing this issue for the past four days and have spend at least 6 hours on the phone with Ebay and Paypal. It's unfortunate that "known" problems are not known by their phone staff. While on a conference call with both companies, Paypal took responsibility for this issue. Their system is not sending accurate email addresses to Ebay. The records that are being sent indicate "no email address" where there should be one.

The provided no estimated time to resolution other than to say "it won't take months" and that they would send an email when it was resolved.
