Default High temperature in China

There is currently very high temperature in China, my last parcel with beauty product was slightly melted (round dot, size of small green pea), however it was test order, it was despatched by slow courier, so it took like 3 weeks to get here.
Before that, I had one similar situation where all ~200 pieces were melted, again by melt I don't mean like going from solid to liquid state, only small burn-like. Both times I was told this is because of high temperature, that order with ~200 was sent by cheap seller, meaning quality of product itself wasn't the best. Anyway I had my refund for both things, but I still had to open all 200 of them and make pictures, waste of time.

Now I made order, seller is fine and product is decent quality, but I am worried about current temperature. His parcels always reach me China - UK in about 3 days. I asked him to put dry ice into parcel hoping he did not send it yet, I am waiting for his reply.

Now my question - when China seller send his parcel which goes to sorting facitily, do they actually have there air conditioning? What I am getting at, is I am guessing parcel is mostly vulnerable for quite short time, when it is taken by post/courier truck where it is hot, then it eventually reaches building which should have normal temperature. Then short (I guess) ride to airport and then temperature isn't problem anymore.

Any ideas how it may look there? Have you been ever concerned with temperature?

I can't imagine these (very large) sorting facilities would go out of their way to rack up their electricity bills to keep parcels chilled.

Parcels move through so many sorting facilities / hubs. So even if one did have a/c, another may not.

It may just be a good idea to stock up on the products when temperature gets lower.

I agree with Play.
This happened to you more than once so don't count on it stopping anytime soon.
For all you know they heat the places up or it might be hot all year round so this would be a permanent condition. Keep testing it once a month to two to see if things change.

Thanks for sharing, despite it having nothing remotely to do with the OPs query.

well any country close to the subtropics are hot for sure in the summer
whichs the southern part of china is in,and unfortunately most exporting business are in the southern china so yes it hard to avoid such cases due to low profile etc.

people like me living in the north are not facing this problem expect july/augest in the daytime. like the date you are posting in sep our temperature dropped to below 20C like Autumn.China is a big land my friend.Developed economy zone most down the south.
