eBay Suspended & PayPal Limited Forums - How do you verify a UK PayPal account?

I spoke to eBay earlier and they told me I need to verify my PayPal and link it to my account to increase my selling limits.
How would I verify my PayPal account?

You add a bank account to the PayPal then get a 4 digit code.

Is it possible to do it with a prepaid visa card?

It's not an account in my name, I want to link it to my eBay once it's confirmed.

I bought an eBay account off here previously and the PayPal account that came with it was verified and I was able to link it to the eBay.

eBay want to see a bank account linked to the PayPal to if your trying to get a limit increase.

You also don't need to have a verified Paypal account to get limit increases on Ebay. The rep is telling you a porky pie. Call back and try another rep.

Ha yep there is that as well. Some are pretty insistent on it still though and it gets put on the accounts notes then each rep will end up asking the same thing. Like parrots.

You'll need to add a bank account anyway to withdraw the funds. :)

Buy Vanilla gift card, link to paypal, get code online and you get limits up.

Sounds like one of you is talking about Paypal sending / withdrawing limts and the other is talking ebay selling limits.

Confirming a card on Paypal will not increase ebay selling limits as Play has said.
