Suspended Please help.

Hi, I got suspended from eBay for 30 days so the next day I opened a new eBay in my girlfriends name and got her papal verified and started trading. After 30 days I got re activated to use my original account again, however after some days I got suspended indefinitely so I carried on using my girl friends eBay for 2 months or so than which also got suspended as they linked it to my orignal account.

So 3 weeks ago I added a new email address to my pay pal and than opened a new eBay account with a new name , new address and verified a new phone number.

Now today this account has been suspended and they said it was linked to my original eBay.

Question I need guidance on.

1. How was I caught on my last ebay account?

2. If I open a new pay pal account on a different address will I need to change my address with the bank which will be verified with papal?

Thank you in advanced for your info.

Changing an email address on a existing PayPal account does not work.

You need a BRAND NEW PayPal account with ALL New information. Same goes with everything else. BRAND NEW Everything or you will be linked again.

Changing the email address on your Paypal used to work until eBay and Paypal started sharing information about 2 years ago.

Paypal doesn't see your name or address when they verify your bank account but you can't use the same account number you have already used previously anyway so changing the address wont do any good.

It will be a new bank account, when I go to my sisters house I will use her address on the paypal and ebay account.

will I still need to change my new bank account detail to my sisters address?

When you verify Paypal with your checking account they never see the name or address on the account, only the account and routing number. That's it. They only verify that it is yours with the 2 deposits they place in it.

Never use the instant verification process.

You don't have to change it but if you are moving there you might as well.

LoL, welcome Kickboxer , your questions are the same we all asked ourselves at the start .
You have a hell of a lot of reading to do , i suggest you buy ebay stealth , then maybee in a few months you will be able to open and operate a successfull stealth account !

Good Luck:FF:

Webguy, why do u say never use the instant verification process?

GreenBean 08-27-2009 06:57 PM

Welcome to the forum, Kick.

webguy is like me. Neither of us use the instant verification for 'our' own security. I do not like to let paypal (or anyone) too much access to my business. The two deposits have always worked well for me with the UK bank accounts. One less drama have. :peace:

I am talking about when you go to verify your Paypal account, depending on which bank you use they might give you 2 options to verify your account.

1) Enter your account and routing number and they will make 2 small deposits. (which you know I'm sure)

2) Instantly verify your bank account. To do this you have to give them your log-in information for your bank then they verify your account instantly.

I was saying never use the second option to verify your account. Most know not to do this, but I was just making sure you knew as well.

Like I said depending on which bank you are using they might not even give you this option, but If you do don't use it to verify your Paypal. Use the first option and wait the 2-3 days.

so what is the instant verification? is that the call back from pay pal?

webguy 08-27-2009 07:13 PM

No.
To instantly verify your Paypal account (Get Verified) with their "Instant verification Process" you must give them your online bank account log-in information and they login to your account to verify it's yours.

Thanks guys,

I need to go on link you have provided me with before I do anything else.

2 question.

I will not need to change my my bank details as I am not really moving so I can register my pay pal at my sisters address without being caught out because my bank is registered to my home address?

2. Do I need to give my real name to pay pal against the bank account I am using?

GreenBean 08-28-2009 05:37 AM

The bank account does not really need to have the same address as the ebay/paypal account. But therre are two very important points for you to know:
Be careful about which bank you are using. Lloyds have given users problems because of an exchange of info with paypal

Make sure that this account has the Direct Debit mandate. If the account has that, you can get the x2 deposits and use the account to withdraw paypal funds :peace:
