So I've been running an eBay business for 3 years non stealth and £500k through paypal. This week got a suspended notice from Paypal for breach of AUP although no idea what it is. Put in an appeal to aup but no response in 4 days.

I realise this stuff happens but I've got staff / premises the lot. It sucks a lot. If I hook up a new or stealth paypal account to my (50k +ve feedback) ebay account I presume it will get insta-banned?

Any suggestions?

Maybe not insta-banned, but with the volume you're doing the new PP would be limited within a couple of days then they'd hold whatever payments you've taken in for 6 months.

If you try it, the only way you'll have any kind of success is if you purposely limit your sales by A LOT. You'd have to start taking in 1-2 payments/day then very slowly work back up. With such a slow pace being required to add a new PP with relative safety, it's better to just start off with a new eB/PP combo and then not have to worry about being linked back to your old PP.

You could open 3 stealth PP accounts and link the 3 of them to your EB account. Use the email for each on 1/3 of the listings, thereby spreading the income. But as said above, if you have big turnover, a fresh PP will be suspended quickly.
