Halifax Bank account shut down
 

Hello all, I am using my personal Halifax account for a stealth business. I have opened 6 accounts under my main account. But today I tried to deposit some cash in my local branch and they informed my account will be closed soon and they put hold on all transaction. They asked for my id and said the source of money. I didn't have iD with me so I said i will back tomorrow.

so my question anyone experienced this type of situation and how did you solve it? Will bank release my money and if they do how long they will take to solve all this..

What type of accounts were they everyday savers?

And how much money were you rinsing in them monthly

Halifax personal accounts are renowned to cause problems like this. Best to avoid.

When you go in, you'll need a reason why money was coming in from different names.
