Paypal and EQUFAX
 

So lately ive had to call paypal 4 times in the past month for some of my accounts, cant confirm it me...

when i ring them, they start saying all sorts of crap about how they are going to check my credit account and ask me questions based on my information that is openly available and wont effect my credit score, obviously im stealth so they can't do it and then just carry on with the phone call as normal.

Do paypal actually have the power now to ask you questions like this??

Paypal? Jeez, the biggest crook company to ever trade... it can't be true. :help:

PayPal have been using credit reference companies ever since they started offering credit. If they are giving out credit they use credit reference companies to check you aren't a credit risk and to verify your ID. I've also been asked related questions on credit free stealth on a number of occasions over the last couple years. Usually when I've been withdrawing to a new bank / adding new bank info.
