Another option is to email the customer a "Returns Form" with your actual address on it and ask them to fill in the form and send it to the address stated on the form. That way Ebay won't see the address and you will get the item back.
The efficiency of this method can vary depending on how far your actual address is from the registered one (If it is a different country it will look suspect) and also it can depend on the customer too. Some of them are funny about sending to a different address (I usually explain that it is the dropshipper's address) but I find it's best to go with my gut, and if I think the customer is going to be an awkward self righteous tw@t then I usually just refund them straight up and try not to think about it lol |
