What do you run your stealth on?

hi, looking for ideas and tips on what is best to run a stealth on.
currently i use a small tablet and a mifi box using sim data.

i tried using a laptop connected to my mifi but it was eating the data :ranger:

What do you use, or and good ideas to share?

thanks and happy new year!

As a "digital nomad" type, I have a laptop, two extra SSD's to store many hundreds of portable browsers, a cheap VPN with "abused ip addresses", and some sim cards with free international roaming

You shouldn’t really be going through that much data running just a stealth account a couple of gigabytes a month would usually be more than enough

I just tether off a phone and use my laptop for my accounts as well as a VPN for the larger accounts

Not sure how you're using so much data. I'd disconnect the sim after you're done. That way any software updates/app updates can't use your data. That's what usually takes up data, not when you're browsing ebay/paypal. :thumb:

I manage my accounts by tethering off my phone, I’m on 3.

I also agree maintaining stealth accounts takes very little data.
The most data you will use is at the beginning when you need to upload listing photos.

Turn all the live tiles off on your tablet if using windows. Chk your firewall or install a free one to block and other third party apps you dont need. I use pc, tablet and smart phone with many acts and dont use much data. Chk your ips always reload by rebooting your dongle and chk them dont get lazy

Re: What do you run your stealth on?

I use virgin media broad band in modem only mode.
It's connected to my own wifi router that allows me to edit the mac address of my wifi router.

So when i reboot the modem it sees a new mac address on the wifi router issuing a fresh IP address (which I record).

I use a different identity on the computer for each account.

for further stuff I use Linux (MX) on a pc and Linux on a raspberry PI.

My wifi router (DLINK dir-615) has DD-WRT firmware allowing vpn, many wifi id's , and the ability to edit the MAC address of the router.

Maybe i didn't explain correctly.

It not the pc mac address my VM modem sees its my wifi router mac address it sees. every pc plugged into the wifi router has the same IP address.

my VM modem sees only my wifi router connected to it and checks its mac address and issues a different IP address depending on the changed mac address on the wifi router. when a computers are connected to the router they all have the same IP address.

Each time the mac address is changed on the wifi router and the modem and my wifi router rebooted VM issues a different IP address.
