 Stealth Buying Account
If PP limit a stealth buying account can one simply; make new email, new card, new phone number, new Mac user account and tether to create a new PP account?
Do they even look closely at the address? Or can I simply go from Flat X, Y Street to Y Street, Flat X?
I know it will linked but I only want to buy.
The account was in my real name and address, I was previously limited as a seller at my old address.
Does anyone know what happens to open disputes as a buyer when PP limit the account?
I know this probably sounds a bit sketchy but I’ve had the account for four years and these are the only two disputes I’ve ever opened, just happened to be at the same time. One was even marked as damaged when I signed for the DHL delivery. (It has my signature and then ‘damaged’ on the proof of delivery.)
In the PP email it says “Any existing PP Purchase Protection cases you've filed will be denied.”
When I log into PP I get the limited notification but the open disputes still appear in the resolution centre.
I checked the status of them with their auto-chat-bot and they still say one is under review, the other waiting for the seller to respond.
Should I wait to see if these run their course or start a chargeback (which will take a lot longer)?
