UK Paypal limited they won't release funds!!
Hi,
I do have UK paypal account got limited and now 200 days has been passed, they asked for driver license to release the funds £617 i uploaded it ... than i waited many days and called them they requested a passport, i did that i used creative documents as the account is stealth.
Lately after many days i called again to see what happens they told me that my passport is invalid and need reupload another copy (not scanned) i did that too also this time they requested Birth Certificate and Bank Statement.
May be i can provide them creative documents too ... But why all this needed??
If account got limited did i need to say goodbye to my funds?? they trying to make things tougher so they steal my funds!!
Please advice me what to do.

i suggest to try to call them directly and explain everything that the 180 days period is already done and you dont need to upload or send anything to withdraw the funds |

| No i means by asking for birth certificate they will check official persons database in UK, i know bank statement are hard to verify. I mean verify the ID. |

in this case, your money will belongs to PayPal.
after you supplied Birth certificate / bank state. then after they can mention you, they did not accept your documents, then you have to re-upload again and again until you lost patients.
My mate got same position last year, PP required 4 times driving license / 5 times passport and 5 times bank statement, PP staffs refused all of upload documents every time until my mate say goodbye to funds |

Hey any update? Did you already have a bank account attached or not? Also what error does it give when you try and withdraw online? |

Yes but hes waited 180 days? Any disputes/chargebacks would of been dealt with by now... |

My problem started a year ago when my account has been limited. I have provided them with all the docs needed ... at the end of the day they limited my account permanently!
Okt 2018 I have received a message for funds ready for withdrawal. I attempted to add the new Visa card because my old one has expired. I got a message “There is a problem with the account. Call the Resolution centre”. So I called and I was asked to attach documents proving my identity.
1.National ID card ,
2.Passport
3.proof of address - utility bill
4. even Birth Certificate;
That was the beginning of my nightmare never-ending story with PayPal. I had a lot of communications PayPal customer support but nothing happen! And for all this time I've been humiliate to added too many and different kinds documents
I called again .....So again and again the agents kept me bullied and asked again and again for government issued ID papers. “Your proof of identity has not been accepted. Send another.”
I am simply seeking a fair resolution. And instead of cooperation they forced me to supply PayPal with plenty of very private information! In the end they still refuse to give me my money back!
I feel that holding my entire balance for such a long time is excessive, unnecessary abuse of power and perhaps even contrary to the laws.
I understand PayPal’s need for holding funds for chargeback purposes, however a review of my account history is pure - No abused , no cases .
Dec 2019 I was again refused to have access to my own money.

I thought paypal are rarely accepting creative documents lately? There's a chance they won't be releasing your funds even after you provide the bank statement and other document. |

From reading around I feel like you need to add a bank account asap when limited as they are confirming it is you that will add a bank account? |

It's all part of their 'TC's AUP' masterplan. They know your account is Stealth and they now are now using their TC's more forceably, so you broke it with creative elements, therefore you don't get your money. Simple as.
Brutal, but it's reality now. |
