Hi guys

I understand that a dongle is the best way to go for a different IP but if i use dial up does that mean Ebay and PP can not detect users..does it do the same thing?

Dial-up is great for our stealth purposes. Can be slow when listing but is fine to ensure no IP problems

if you are worried about your ip in the uk...just change your ISP to sky broadband cos everytime you unplug the router from the mains it will give you a brand new ip number..thats wat im doing at the moment lol

[Virgin Media broadband is a strange system. The IP is what is called a slow Dynamic. In other words, it takes more than the unplugging of the modem to get a new IP. What you can do is speak to Virgin & see what they will do for you. Maybe consider Wireless with Virgin: that will give you a new IP. Or if you are computer savy change the Router MAC address & that will give you a new IP

this is from another post where I answered someone. I am not sure of how computer savvy you are. But to answer the question, no, VM's IP does not change easily :pout:
