I'll be purchasing a stealth account in the next couple of weeks but in the meantime I am trying to create 2 or 3 stealth UK EB accounts.
One of my doubts is about the UK address... I currently live abroad and I have read that some people may simply choose a random address... go to google maps, zoom in and select a number.
My concern (among others) doing that is that I feel is a lottery draw... IF you choose an address where someone already owns an account... wouldn't the account be flagged?
My second option would be using forwarding companies that give you a free address (ie: forward2me)... which I have used in the PAST with no issues BUT we know things have changed with eBay recently.
Question I guess is... what's the safest option out there? the one with the least chance to raise a red flag
Thanks guys! |

You can get a post code, search addresses within it and use |

should that be a concern?
Although if the account was to be flagged... it would also flag any potential eb accounts already registered in the randomly chosen address... just a thought |

ha, ha, ha, I will do from now on. Nothing to lose... thanks for your input :amen: |
Re: UK Addresses If someone already has an account at the address its not necessarily an issue. Other factors remain isolated, internet connect/IP, user account, cookies, potentially what you're selling etc.
Not something i'd worry about. :thumb: |

Thanks guys! | With regard to the address, people are coming and going all the time at addresses, and are not necessarily on the electoral roll.
I would try to create the account using a real ip, depending on which cou try you're in you could use free roaming to give you a UK ip address
Once you have created the account, then in my experience it's ok to operate with VPN |

I am getting a VPN or proxies with firefox portable so hopefully that will work... :) | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:12 PM. | |
