Skype not working for Ebay UK
 

Hi, has ebay blocked skype from calling them? Tried calling their uk number and i just get network error or this number is unobtainable. I have a valid subscription that covers the call.
I use +443453503229
Any alternatives? skype doesn't seem to work for ebay, Sipgate seems nice but they require address verification.

nvm found one but have to keep topping up credit.
Why does skype not work? tells me connection too weak which is not true since i have fiber net. Can anyone tell me what they're using to call ebay uk?

you need to subscribe caller id in skype then you will have a uk number on skype
ebay uk only accepts incoming call with uk number

It seems you need to input a number and then verify it with sms to have it display as caller ID, which isn't an issue since i have many sims, thanks a lot for this.

Everytime i call in, they automatically say "hi sir, is this xxx xxx" before i even say my stealth name, i'm trying to call about another stealth account and they keep recognizing the previous stealth i called in, i guess i have to keep changing the caller i.d so ebay system doesn't automatically recognize the caller id and inform reps what my name is, a bit of a hassle but oh well.
