I've noticed one thing. If your account simply has a security restriction or something low level for your 1st suspension on new account, you can get it reinstated using twitter. However if twitter support says you need to call them, they won't be reinstating you even if you call. If it was a simple restriction, then twitter support will reinstate. That's my personal experience.

This has been known for sometime,they want you to call so they can suspend you for good.

Yes, it's just that i've seen quite a few people comments where people are stating that they simply called in and got the account reinstated, which is not true from my own experience for ebay uk. And when the guy asks if you got any other accounts, it's a dead giveaway that you got linked, obviously he will refuse and say "i didn't say you had another account, i was just asking", yh no **** you asked because you saw the link on your end.

When asked if you have any other accounts at that address, I reply no not myself but my kids who moved away may have one still registered here, it works for me and I get through verification.

I don't know, i just get emails stating you are permanently suspended the 1st time on my new accounts and no chance of reinstating and all other accounts will be banned. And so far everytime i've called in, they simply tell me to take my product elsewhere. I don't know where i'm going wrong, maybe new user account is no longer sufficient, or maybe they verify the account information, not sure but i haven't been successful in reinstating or making new accounts without suspension. The last time i got two accounts reinitiated a week ago, after that no luck. Tried creating an account in VM so we'll see how that goes and thanks for the tip, i'll try that, although they might ask for your kids name and when it's not the correct names they've linked to... yh we'll see.

Why do people struggle to go on livechat? if you can't see livechat on the contact page, simply click on one of the issues like "issues with selling buying or anything really, and then livechat should pop up when you click oneo f the article links. It's just live-chat is no longer on the general contact page sometimes so you gotta click and expand the issue you're having and then you'll be given the option to chat.

Both the same, low-level reps, they can't do anything if your account is suspended by the system, it's permanent but livechat is the worst out of any type of communication.

Mostly pointless, the "selling limits" department is outsourced to india so you'll be talking to indians who don't know what they're doing and don't have any real authorization to increase your limits. I guess the trick is to open accounts with high initial limits instead of having to call back, because only american reps will give you higher limits, there's a trick to do that but i can't explain it here.

I think you are a bit off with your comments. The poster has given advice of how to find it.

I could add that by the time you took with your reply, you could have followed the posters advice and found it your self.

My opinion is that it is not the best option to post a direct link to ebay on the forum as some users may inadvertantly click it and end up by getting their accounts linked. Of course, if a link is posted, make sure there is also a clear warning about it.
