MC011 ebay/payal
 

hi guys, recently received the MC011 restriction on my eBay account for proof of sending the item but it is a pre order that does not come out till start of march so cant send it yet

my paypal is still ok.Decent amount of money in the account due to the sells which i need to help pay for the pre ordered

im concerened a paypal limitation may follow so wanted some advice on how to tread now. any advice on withdrawing the money safely?

also got this what does it mean

We have credited all associated fees except for payments processing fees and the final value fee for your listing(s).

will the customers see i been restricted i dnt want this to effect my account while i sort this out i have 100% feedback and been on ebay for 11 years

any advice would be much appreciated.

After I had this limitation I was hit with the paypal limitation which asked about I'd, invoice and proof of delivery. This was a few days after the ebay MC011. then I called paypal and they said it was due to the ebay account being suspended. So I think your paypal account will have a soft limitation if you can remove your money out of there asap.

what is the item?
Does Ebay know it is a preorder?
You cant be the only one selling preorder item?

You probably wont have listed to the eBay rules on Preorders for that to happen.Check the guidelines/rules next time.

The listing will just vanish and any customers will get the 'we had to remove this listing' email. You may find many of them opening cases straight away as the eBay emails can be nerve racking.

I would remove your funds in PayPal as a precaution.

Bang on with this answer. I have had this happen a few times with legit items due to images used, even though I had rights owner permission. Buyers got twitchy and had messages from them asking why and even had a couple of INR cases opened, even though tracking was uploaded on sending.

I cannot comment on pre-order items as it's something I haven't experience of.

Get the funds out/withdraw as soon as you can. Those buyers will soon open disputes/claims on your suspended ebay account, eventhough you've delivered their items. It happened to me many times. For now, you need to have a back-up Paypal account (also ebay if you wish to continue selling there)

my account is not suspended its just temp restricted till i give them the postage proof which i cant do as it is a pre order i sold all the stock so their was no listing up and i need the money to pay for the orders :) and yes their is a few people selling these as pre orders my paypal is now limited asking me only for ID proof which i sent them my passport :)

did you manage to get your money out i have a temp limitation as we speak need to prove my ID which i have done in the past

So I gave them I'd never uploaded the proof of delivery just said I had positive feedback on ebay and instead of uploading the invoice I uploaded the passport again. I genuinely thought i was going to get a permanent limitation but then i got the email saying my account has been restored so i am guessing they were only looking at the ID.

ebay restricted my account i kid you not on two items that i had refunded to the buyers their system flagged it up as me not sending them the item i even had positive feedback off the buyers on my profile for the refund they are a joke now it takes 3 days for them to sort out this mess i just hope i get my lamination lifted off my paypal i have close to 2k

They'd use the ID to create a profile on you so that you can't get back on PayPal in the future, then you'd get a permanent limitation.

Move on.

Soon as ebay send you messages about restrictions
Remove link PayPal
Go to PayPal settings switch off eBay action
Remove bank details and credit cards details
Buy some thing with stealth account to clear balance in your account PayPal
Cancel direct debit from your bank for PayPal
And reorder new bank card with different 16 digits number so ebay
Can't chase you
Change address on eBay number post code and return address

And start fresh on stealth

That is incorrect advise, besides you are contradicting yourself > Cancel direct debit from your bank for PayPal ?
If there is a direct debit setup then it isn't a stealth account, if a payment is made from the bank to paypal it would reveal his real name, unless his bank account is a stealth account too but unlikely because that would be identity fraud
And are you advising him to perform a exit scam?
If fee's are paid there is no crime being committed, avoiding fee's using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ identity is again identity fraud,

Some people do the Direct debit thing although it is not necessary,
