Confirmed attaching old ebay to new paypal
 

This will go against the stealth book, but I can confirm it works.

I can't promise longevity forever but my setup has lasted nearly a year. If sellers want to get back to selling and still have old ebays with banned paypals I can confirm you can attach a new paypal (and even pass the 2.5k EU verification aswell) to an old 90 day+ ebay account.

It's worked for me!

Some noticeable things that MAY be a deciding factor for ebay/paypal staff to not boot you off the platform:-

- I have no returns / open cases
- I ALWAYS upload a tracking number
- Top Rated seller
- Respond to all emails quickly
- Follow all other stealth principals, new user, browser, email etc.

@cricket, I experimented with that before but way back in 2009 or so - I changed up my sales however and the new ebay lived on...however pp didnt lasted so long so eventually had issues - but that's my own experience

This also works. But it's all dependent on what you sell.

There is some luck involved as well and the mood of the employee looking at your account.

Did you make the new paypal details same as ebay account or can paypal details be different?

Different details but then change ebay info to match.

Again it's all under ebays discretion whether they like what you sell ... that would be the only explanation to why they haven't kicked me off yet.

What about closed Ebay account - for the simple reason of Fee's and Refunds - not being paid - as being not able to cover my loss because of fraud. Recently got some extra Time in my hands reopened that case (2013 - it was) again with ActionFraud and all the references to prove too. Simply was SCAMMED by dishonest buyer, hence the reason can't cover the losses with ebay & paypal being ruined as the result(

Any ideas, guys? please)

There is no point telling me the history.

The fact is it works on a case by case basis. Give it a try and see what happens. It's all under ebays / paypals discretion and what you sell and how you deal with customers definitely has a lot to do with it.

I have an old eBay with a banned PayPal that I would like to use.

Can I use an old PayPal with this that has had its eBay banned?

This has actually been recommended by others in the past as well. Even if it decreases your chances of survival, you might as well try since you have nothing to lose.

If you're thinking of doing this, just make sure you don't do it soon after a suspension of your eb or pp as that will likely have the other account demolished in no time.

I always do it and usually paypal gets restircted after 2 items (15-20 GBP) and if i send them the docs they are asking for they restore it. I do not think the restriction is related to the suppension of the other paypal.

It works the other way around aswell. If you have a good paypal and ebay is supended you can use the paypal with the ebay (by adding a new mail to paypal). I can also confirm this will link the ebay accounts instantly since i talked to an agent and he asked me once about my other account with the name "name-of-the-other-account-which-is-suspended". I said i do not know about that acc and he did not ask again.

But i can also confirm they can ban you randomly after a while becuase of the link, however it takes 3-12 month to recive a ban for that even if the accounts are linked instantly when you use the old paypal
