I got reinstated email but not yet reinstated!!
 

Hello,

After starting selling again using other avenues believing that my ebay account after numerous emails was completely dead i got an email from ebay saying that it had been reinstated!! Now the strange thing about it is it had all my previous emails to and from ebay on it, becuase i just replied direct to each email so it cannot have been fraudulent can it? It also had not one link on it at all so i couldnt log on or anything like that. Problem is when i log in it still says account blocked, what do you think, this is the email.

Did the email have your name & User ID? That is what they do. At times the reinstatement does not go thro' even though the email is sent.

Hello, no there was no id on that, there is my name though, not entirely sure whats happening really, what u think?

It would be a rare case for your history to be included in a phishing email.
I know I have had at least 2 emails without ID that were OK. Go to the Help section & see if you can find the Live Help button.... speaking to them should solve the problem :)

Ok mate, thanks for the help, dont think Ebay UK has live help anymore though, i have sent them an email asking if they can help and why it hasnt come back on. Although it does state in the email that i will get a 2nd email confirming that i am back on but i never had that, just one of them survey emails asking if there service was good.

trust and safety and account security both have live help for UK, I dare not post link here but do a search and if not go to any US live help and get them to give you link..
