Withdraw to card

So, who noticed that now with UK paypal you can withdraw to a card?

Re: Withdraw to card

On USA Paypal we've had that option for about a year now, but it's fairly useless since it will only work with certain bank-issued debit cards. I've never seen any point in using it since the only cards of mine it will accept are debit cards belonging to bank accounts that I already have linked to Paypals.

I guess one way to take advantage of this feature would be to link your bank account to one Paypal, and then link your debit card for that same bank account to another Paypal. I'm not sure if it would work but if it did, you'd have a way of withdrawing from 2 Paypals at once into the same bank account.

It's useful for opening less bank accounts

The PP gets limited with the bank attached and not usable anymore, so you add the associated card to a new Paypal, if thay paypal goes down too, you order a new card and add that, etc etc etc

I wonder why Paypal will allow such,Paypal would not let us link the same bank account to more than one Paypal account, but based on what you described,by using bank issued debit card ,one is linking the same bank account to multiple Paypal accounts

Because they cannot link the bank account to the debit card, so they can't tell it's the same.

The problem with this is going to be that it’s difficult to add a card to a PayPal in the first place if the address doesn’t match

It certainly could be useful although I think it’s going to be a little bit limited in use when it comes to multiple accounts

Re: Withdraw to card

there is also a fee involved since it is card transaction whether it is credit or debit, the toll man takes a fee while bank transfer is free.
Many US users prefer using the debit card because Paypal promises the money will be available in minutes.
