Linking old ebay to new paypal
 

Hey stealthers, got a conundrum for you!

I have an old legit ebay that I haven't used in over a year. I used to drop ship on it but let it sit when I moved business elsewhere. Its still active and happy.

I want to link a new paypal to the account. While its a new paypal all the details on there match the ebay account (apart from address).

I lost access to the old PayPal as the email provider actually deleted the email account due to inactivity. I am unable to reach PayPal with the virus at the moment as call centres are down. There was no issues with this old PayPal account.

I am specifically wondering if its ok to directly link this PayPal to the ebay.

it does not matter if your IP provider deleted your email address,if you know it,you can log on with it.
we are allowed 6 email address,you can add new ones and make one primary

OP, go ahead and link that new paypal account. You already mentioned that there were no issues with your previous account, so that's already a Green Signal :)

Sorry agent, i should have been clearer, not only is the old email address deactivated by the provider i also dont know the password to the paypal.

No access to the old phone number either which prevnts use of PayPals back up password reset.
