Bank confirmation has been unsuccessful
 

Created new ebay & PayPal with stealth info.

Made a new savings account and gave details to PayPal however account was not activated and so initial PayPal deposit failed (it is now fully activated).

I cant seem to re-add this account or any account to my PayPal. It shows this error 'We're sorry, we're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later.'

are my accounts now useless? I have contacted PayPal but understand responses are slow now due to covid 19

Call PayPal and use the automated service to add the bank account

open another savings account and wait for 2-3 days before using it on PP

are you saying his UK bank or Paypal is checking mismatched names?
Or if his bank account has been added to another Paypal account (closed or active), he cannot use it

I was wondering if the savings account which he has opened has been opened under his real name or under his stealth alias ?

if he searches past threads,there are UK members who have problems as their banks do check mismatched names.

can you open a UK bank account using fictitious name?
In USA,you would be asked for your SSN,physical address

You can if you want to get arrested for fraud.

When you open a bank account in the UK, the bank runs a hard credit search, if you use a fictitious name or if info is not correct, they won't open it.

Of course you can open an account with an online bank, like monese, starling, revolut and others, but they will ask for a video call (they video call you) or for selfies with docs, etc.....so you better off opening on your own name.
