How much money you receive from buyers by selling in ebay before paypal starts asking for id and stuff?

One of my listing selling well, I might hit the limit soon? If it does what options would I have? Any pre planning advise please? Ebay and pp is stealth.

One more thing this listing is all greyed I can not change certain things in it like description, paypal email, title, etc etc Why is that ? Any way round this?

Just to add to James post that the second limit is around the £2200 mark

I think when you make a sale you cannot edit parts of the listing. Been that way for a while

Do they ask id on 1st limit or 2nd limit? and when they ask I believe they give you a month to produce, in that 30 days Can you operate account and withdraw to bank etc etc.

Is there a way to find out how much you have earned in paypal or ebay setting, my account is about 2 years old only picking up now although has sale but very slow in past so quite difficult to figure out what level I am on.

ID and proof of address requested on 1st limit. When you hit the 1st limit at around £1650 you are still able to withdraw. This is the 'soft' limitation.

When you get to around the £2200 mark, the 2nd limit hits. This is the hard limitation and you cannot withdraw etc but can still receive payments. They still want your ID and proof of address.

It's up to you when you send the docs in after their request. You can do it straight away, or wait until you hit the 2nd limit.

As the receiving limit 'resets' annually, I would say wait until you get the 1st request, then you will know how much more you can sell until you hit the hard limitation, around £550 more.

I just hit the £1650 limit - still able to send receive funds but wanting to remove the limitation via docs supplier

the email says i need the verify my activity and i need to submit the usual documents but its weird the have paypal limited on the first transaction

Is this a new account? Some have reported restrictions and had them lifted. Before anyone can offer advice you will need to supply more info regarding your account, usage, set up, etc.

That isn’t an EU limit that’s just an account limitation and it means you’ve done something that has triggered a limitation to appear on the PayPal

Just checked again i've had over almost 2.5k into paypal and there was never a 1650 limitation

Get the limit removed.. send in your docs get it fully verified and limits removed.

i have another Uk ebay acc and paypal can i list on ebay.com with no fear of getting limited on a small amount ? just selling physical legal item. thank you

i use uk paypal to receive money and these days,the 1st limited is 7000GBP.
i do not know why,paypal i used before is about 1500GBP.
and i have passed the 1st limited 6/6 in 1 month.
do not know when is the 2nd limited....
