£1650 paypal limitation received - need to remove asap
 

Just received the 1st paypal limitation, never had to send docs in before so i'm guessing its the £1650 limitation

This is wha I see on paypal

'A temporary limitation has been placed on your account


We need you to take action on your account. Access to some features in your account will be limited until you've completed the required tasks and provided the information we've requested. We'll remove the limitation after we've reviewed the information you provide.
Reference ID: xyz

Then clicked on resolve option which shows

Personal

Confirm id - green tick
Personal details - green tick
proof of address - required
proof of identity - required

Account
Confirm bank account or card - green tick


What is the impact on your account?
Close PayPal account - red cross next to it
all below have green cross next to them
Receive money or payments
Pay using PayPal
Refund money to customers
Send money or payments
Withdraw money from PayPal
Add funds to your PayPal account
Add bank account
Add debit or credit card
Remove Bank Account
Remove credit or debit card
Update your profile
Display PayPal logos on site or auction
Convert currencies


I got supplier to produce docs like bank/credit statement and DL but don't have the payment methods they want so stuck atm

This is the standard soft limitation email sent on reaching the £1650 in sales. Nothing to worry about. It is your choice on whether you continue to receive money into the paypal or wait it out to see if the docs pass first.

Upload the docs you have purchased to paypal and then wait it out. Don't forget to remove exif data on your files first. I also change the name of the file.

I can;t see where they are asking for any payment method from you, only ID and proof of address.

I’ve not bought the docs yet because i'm trying to locate a seller from the forum that does paypal to btc

Lombok can the same docs be used for both the 1650 and 2300 limitation?

I’d prefer to wait see if the docs pass lift the limitation before selling anything else

It’s just proof of address and proof of identity they want

I thought I’d copy paste the info so this thread could help others in the same situation now or in the future, they could use the thread as point of reference because experienced members have provided valuable advice on this thread

Just read your edited first post. The picture is a little clearer now.

If you can't pay for the docs you need then you are stuck until you can pay or learn to make your own.

Once you have had that soft limitation email, it's quite easy to work out how much more you can sell before the hard limitation comes in. You can stop just before that and get your money out before sending in the docs.

i need someone that can do ppal to btc for me before getting the docs done, i've got 300-350 left before i get to the 2300 limit so will stop selling in this week, just got to try to find a seller on here that can help me with ppal to btc now:cheer:

why does ppal put a 2nd limit on the ppal account once it reaches £2300? whats the logic behind that?

I had a look on ebay it shows your totals to date are over £2500?

How do you find the dob on paypal i can't find the option tried everything looking under account/security/payments

which option is it under?

Yes personal account I need to check the dob on ppal for the docs to remove the limatation don't want to guess the dob and get it wrong for the docs

Will upgrading mean you have to register as a business with hmrc and vat?
I'm not a big seller on ebay

I’ve reached more than 3k sales through PayPal in about 5 weeks and I still havnt received this soft limitation I was expecting it when I got to £1650 but no nothing happened to me.
