No comms from PayPal at EU limit
 

My account is at around €2,500 in sales and payments seem to no longer be accepted. PayPal haven't sent any emails about getting close to or hitting limits. Support was contacted about 4 days ago via the message service with no response at all. Is this expected and what would people here do in this situation?

You should have received an email when you hit the soft limit and then a doc request at the hard limit of 2.5k

Doesn't the bell icon when you login have an unread notification telling you to upload documents to verify your identity ? If not it's clearly a glitch.

Get on to support via facebook or twitter if you can.

Even EU hardlimit does not stop you from receiving payments. maybe it is something else

Buyers contacted to say that they are trying to make purchases and when they try to pay, it either doesn't go through or is instantly refunded. Like PayPal is rejecting their payments. Nothing shows up in ebay or PayPal at this end. If it's not the EU limit any ideas what else it might be? Unusual to be ignored by support for 5 days, unless other people are experiencing the same delays...

Quite often that happens just before an account gets limited but usually the account will be limited within a day or two
