Ebay stealth account but real item location
 

If my stealth postal account address is a long way from my item location postcode shown on a listing would this cause a problem? (the item for sale is in the same country as my registered address just in a different town far away)

The reason I ask is I'm interested in offering a collection option so need to put the items real location town or postcode on the listing (I don't need to list an actual address just a town or postcode) What with all the postage costs, postal damage, returns and BS offering a collection option could be useful.

I mean I guess there are genuine reasons why it would be at a different location such as you use store items in a warehouse or have more than 1 home address etc.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Drop shippers have item locations in different countries.

eBay is now tracking this, if you ship from a different address you will get flagged

Well..not necessary. One of my accounts was opened in other EU county not UK Im selling from UK permanent address for a few years and obviously it's different from original registered address..Was some issues with pp holds since Brexit though..which eventually got resolved.. p.s sure it could be different for dropship sellers..
