| DarkKnight17 | 07-30-2020 10:55 AM | U.K Managed Payments Anyone have an update on getting around the new managed payments?
I want to get another couple of stealth accounts without getting burned straight away by Ebay
Also my current stealth account I am worried about. Messages of not being able to list more items from Ebay if I do not register
:uk: |
| slokor | 07-30-2020 05:54 PM | Re: U.K Managed Payments Only heavier sellers are being invited at the moment so getting two more accts started shouldn't be a problem - at least in the short term.
No new info on MP yet unfortunately. |
| LOMBOK | 07-31-2020 05:29 AM | Re: U.K Managed Payments I have opened new accounts since the MP stuff and they have not had the invite to join yet. Money going into their respective paypals and withdrawals into my savers without any problems. My other accounts have had the invite and I am waiting to see what happens. Nothing so far. |
| DarkKnight17 | 07-31-2020 04:48 PM | Re: U.K Managed Payments I would'nt say I have had an invite. More like a threat

Sign up or we will will suspend your ability to make new listing | Being polite with the term invite, but yes, it is a veiled threat!
The message has now changed to this: By the end of 2020, eBay will manage payments for most sellers. Get your business ready and register now. We’ll notify you before activating your account for managed payments.By the end of 2020, eBay will manage payments for most sellers. Get your business ready and register now. Running your business is simple when eBay manages your payments, and buyers have new ways to pay. It's simple to get paid with automatic payouts sent directly to your bank account, and simple to manage with simplified fees, integrated reporting, and direct support. Now no mention of restricting listings. I have listed more on this account today. It is a 5k item account. |

Ebay has now 'interupted' the ability to list on that account until it gets registered for MP. |

Registered for MP, supplied ID and bank statement, able to list again. Still have buyers and everything is back to normal.
Just a waiting game now. |

| vyccc | 08-05-2020 06:49 AM | Re: U.K Managed Payments Also they ask for business details, how do I get around it if I'm a private seller just upgraded ebay to business because of the high volume.
Don't want to burn acc in a good standing order |

I have had the email to say they have verified the bank details as follows: Thanks for providing us with the documentation we requested. We verified your updated details. If your payouts were on hold: You'll start receiving funds again, provided there are no other issues needing your attention.
I assume I am now enroled onto MP and they will let me know when it becomes active. |
| Hardgrafter | 08-06-2020 02:44 PM | Re: U.K Managed Payments Hello Lombok,
Many thanks for sharing this crucial information with the team.
This gives us hope with MP stealth.
I will be doing the same soon on my business account.
Thanks mate |
| indielad | 08-08-2020 05:34 AM | Re: U.K Managed Payments I have started using managed payments since Wednesday. My bank and ebay account's name matched, but not the address. Alarmingly a few sales I have had are stuck on 'processing' rather like paypal's 21 day new seller holds. I dont have any available funs yet, and even when they do they will take time for ebay to move them to my bank |
| e2free | 08-08-2020 05:40 AM | Re: U.K Managed Payments MP is **** started using on 1 account and everything was going smooth but on 1st payout they **** put 72 hours restrictions all this b**l reviewing the information which can take 72 hours and payout on hold
Anyone else having this issue? |
| indielad1010 | 08-08-2020 06:21 AM | Re: U.K Managed Payments Yes I am having the same issue. I just messaged ebay's customer support and they said it will take "" 6 business days" for funds to clear! |

| indielad1010 | 08-08-2020 07:01 AM | Re: U.K Managed Payments The sale was on Thursday. So given that what they eBay customer rep said . I guess it will take 8 days to clear! Yes the diabolical customer service is a reflection of eBay being a monopoly auction site. Those tax dodgers really need a bit more competition! |
| CryptoBoss | 08-08-2020 12:41 PM | Re: U.K Managed Payments This system is very much basically like stripe and other payment processors. You get your money in about a weeks time. No 21 day holds like paypal. |
| DarkKnight17 | 08-22-2020 08:24 PM | Re: U.K Managed Payments I am eagerly awaiting a stealth update on this as I want to buy more accounts. But not if they are going to crash an burn in a couple of months |

Just a waiting game now. | hi just wanted to ask ive just got this message regarding MP on one of my accounts but how would i supply legitimate details since its a stealth account, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name address etc and im using saver account instead of current accounts cheers |

If so, you should have the ID that can be used for MP.
You don't have to add the same bank account to EB for MP. You can use a different one, so a current account will be ok if that bank accepts mismatched names.
You will need to supply a bank statement that has been creatively manipulated to match the stealth details as they will want that along with your ID.
That's all I did with my account and am now waiting for the date to go live. |
| ebabe | 08-25-2020 01:52 PM | Re: U.K Managed Payments Is there a way for ebay or the new MP payment processor (not PP) to cross check to see if everything matches up? Other then just looking at the documents? I know its more difficult in the U.S. becuase they have SS numbers but what about here in UK? |
| indielad | 08-30-2020 04:00 AM | Re: U.K Managed Payments I'm on MP, and they accepted my bank, though my ebay address and bank address do not match. Surely they can't be banning people for having the same name? what if it were John Smithm it would ban 1000s of other accounts. |
| mecka | 08-30-2020 06:37 AM | Re: U.K Managed Payments What about if you change account from business to personal do you still need need to go true MP? |

But as far as I know, you cant downgrade account anyway, and if you could then you would not qualify for Powerseller/Top rated status. And from my experince, being top rated does increase sales. |
| Uavmods | 09-08-2020 12:33 PM | Re: U.K Managed Payments Yes you can go back a personal account but you have call them and ask to do it but it would not be much point as you have be on MP by 2021 and there no op out of it |
