Paypal payments to Santander or Lloyds?
 

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been asked but i'm at the stage of adding a linked bank account for my Uk stealth account and wanted to know if a fresh savings account from Santander or Lloyds would be best. Anyone have any experience with these? Do either check for the name to match?

Avoid lloyds for mismatch name dont know about santander wait for other member to shed light on santander

I use Santander savings account. I have 3 linked to 3 different PayPal's with 3 different names on PayPal.

Santander is fine. I use them without problem. Most will tell you to avoid Lloyds but I have no experience of using them for stealth, only legit accounts.

Do you guys open a basic or current account with Santander (I'm interested about being able to create savers afterwards)

Basic account with Santander. Opening savers with them is no problem.

The brilliant thing with the Santander basic account is you get two cards, one to pay for stuff in the shops and one to operate the account with. The payment card has a different account number to the operating card. This gives you two account numbers that can be used. I have used both these account numbers on two different paypals and they receive the money without problem.
