What’s the safe number for Banks
 

Hello alll I’ve currently got a Halifax, RBS & NatWest saver accounts

For Halifax I don’t have any more than 4 savers at one time

For NatWest & RBS I have 1 basic current account each

Currently I’ve got 3 savers with them

Can I have 4 savers and 1 current account or will that be pushing the boat

There is no limit on how many bank accounts you can have, legally or otherwise. Some bank may have an internal policy but they'd always let you know before opening the account whether they're okay with it, or not.

Having 4 savers and a current account is perfectly normal tbh, you won't have an issue. Opening and closing account in a short space of time though, now that's a different matter. Be careful of any sudden movements.

And build relationship with the banks - have some money sitting in the accounts - invest a bit if you can too
