"The buyer reported that someone made the order without their permission. Until this case is closed, we've also placed a hold on the transaction amount.
The buyer has filed a case with their financial institution for a payment of £20.57 GBP you received on 29 Jul 2020. We opened a case on 24 August 2020 so that we can collect more information and resolve this with the buyer's financial institution.
To help us resolve your case as quickly as possible, please respond by 2 September 2020 at 19:47:53 BST"
This buyer bought email delivery item and we had just one conversation over ebay message, This buyer has made four transations of same item.
What shall I say to paypal? or I have already lost when buyer lodged a claim with their financial institute.
My item is genuine and I feel ripped off with this kind of buyers, What do I do now. Any help/advise is highly appreciated |
| agent006140 | 08-27-2020 04:58 PM | Re: Unauthorised Transaction Case on PP Paypal policy of seller protection on UA transaction is that you have proof you have shipped the item, not necessarily delivered, proof of shipping will be a paid shipping label with buyer name and address and tracking shows it has been shipped.
But you dont have it because it is email delivery.
so get prepared to lose the case, and pay a $20 chargeback fee from your buyer cc issuer. |
| ebabe | 08-27-2020 05:57 PM | Re: Unauthorised Transaction Case on PP I had one of these a couple of years back. I supplied tracking number and the case was closed in my favour (the seller). Without proof of delivery I think it will be very difficult, and PP dont seem to give seller protection for digital goods. This is why Im kinda not totally against MP. And im not confortable that PP gives buyers 6 months to make a claim, its ridiculous. Hope PP eventually go under |
| agent006140 | 08-27-2020 07:20 PM | Re: Unauthorised Transaction Case on PP 6 months is credit card rule, since Paypal accepts credit card ,it goes along with it,MP should be the same |
| Pandoras_box | 08-27-2020 07:45 PM | Re: Unauthorised Transaction Case on PP I've not had this in ages but it's useless trying to fight it without tracking.
I don't know what the interface looks like these days, but if there's an option to refund, better to do so now. No need to postpone the inevitable. |
| agent006140 | 08-27-2020 08:16 PM | Re: Unauthorised Transaction Case on PP it is a credit card chargeback, seller has no way of refunding, she could be smacked with $20 charge back fee. |

This could take a few weeks to resolve. If you have a signature confirmation it'll be even better. |
| JamieStars | 08-28-2020 05:31 AM | Re: Unauthorised Transaction Case on PP I had one of these for the first time in a couple of years last week on a UK account. Uploaded the tracking and PayPal protected me. |
| agent006140 | 08-28-2020 07:24 AM | Re: Unauthorised Transaction Case on PP UA disputes-all you need is proof you have shipped, not necessarily delivered to qualify for Paypal dispute.
Buyer opens a chargeback with his cc issuer, not Paypal |
| LOMBOK | 08-29-2020 03:55 AM | Re: Unauthorised Transaction Case on PP I had one 18 months ago, £129.99 for a Christmas tree. Came in on Christmas Eve, nearly a month after the sale date. I sent it tracked and signed for and uploaded everything, including the signature. Case resolved in my favour and I also reported it to action fraud for good measure. |

How is this the sellers problem anyway?
Paypal cleared the payment not the seller but act like the seller did something wrong
Taking the piss
Unfortunately without full tracking you just have too take it on the chin | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:02 AM. | |
