Ebay Restricted

Hi

Has this happened to anyone before.

Ebay has just removed all my listing and has restricted my account, they're
Asking for tracking for all listings and wanting me resolve all cases opened ?

Is this just good bye to the account?

Thanks

What restriction have they given you in the email, MC???

The only option you have is to do as they request and appeal.

I have had this before and so have many others. I send everything tracked. The last time it happened, all I had were a couple of return cases open, which were marked on the system as waiting for the buyer to post, and nothing else. I appealed and they then asked for invoices, ID etc. I gave them all of this and got the permenant selling restriction. I don't sell any dodgy stuff.

But some have been successful in getting the account back.

MC011 is a tough one.

You need to make sure you have tracking numbers for your sales and sort out any open cases you have quickily. If you have not sent tracked they may look at feedback for the items.

Answer their email directly to appeal. They will most likely reject it and ask for ID, invoices and proof of address. Give this to them and be carefull with what you write in your appeal. There are a few articles online on what to write. Try not to copy exactly what they say.

How many cases do you have? What about returns? How is your comms with your customers? All this kind of stuff can lead to MC011 restrictions.

I have noticed getting an MC011 is going to happen on every account at least once, its just a way of eBay asking for more information from you ?

Ive had accounts where ive ran them perfect but yet i still get the MC011

Never had an MC011 ever ... I've had the paypal check where they ask you for your business plan and projections. But passed that as I had nothing to hide.

you can pass MC011, but you really need a whole complete good story to convince ebay you are doing legit business, not drop shipping. You have the products in stock and you take photos by yourself. If you always use those stock photos, the chance to get it back is very little.

Whats the issue with dropshipping? I sell my own stock but I also supplement it with dropship items (easy money but it takes a while to find a good dropshipper). As far as I am aware we are permitted to dropship providing it isn't retail arbitrage?

Supplementing and just outright dropshipping ... big difference.

That's the same as selling low risk items to build an account to sell high risk.

Ebay don't see what you're doing as risky any more because you have proven yourself.

But just outright dropshipping is too much of a risk for them.
