I just want to help my mother. Her account got banned because of me.
 

Dear whoever can help me,



I have been severely distressed for weeks now. My paypal account got permanently banned for reasons I haven't been informed of but I'm sure I unknowingly made a fault somewhere. The problem is my clueless innocent mother's account got banned at the exact same time. She spends all her time looking after me and my brother at home and buying/selling on ebay was a massive hobby of hers and she put immense amounts of effort into doing superbly and following all the rules. Suddenly she was banned for life just because she lives under the same roof as me using the same wifi as me. There is literally nothing I wouldn't do just to undo the loss I have caused her, I feel extremely guilty. I don't care about my own account, I can learn to live with it even though I loved buying clothes on depop/ebay, but I would genuinely skydive from an airplane into a volcano with all my earthly possessions if I could fix the problem I've caused her undeservingly. From research into the matter I can presume in calling paypal I would just be met with a blunt, dismissive, unbothered agent from which I'd only get more grief and get only further from sorting it out.

Please if anyone could give me any advice I would be ever thankful.

Has your Mother tried contacting Ebay and explaining the situation and that her account is separate? Does she sell from the account or just buy things? If she uses it for buying it shouldn't be too hard to get it re-instated, they may ask for documents or something to prove her identity

oh dang. sorry to know this.
sharing the same wifi connection is indeed a linking factor. Has she tried contacting ebay, and maybe you guys can still reinstate the account?
also Get her a new stealth account, maybe?

Hi my mate had the same issue and his mums account got banned she called eBay and was on the phone for hours getting passed from person to person and someone did in the end unlock her account but it was a lot of work as long as it’s only the same address and IP address that link the account with a lot of calling and not give it up you have a good chance of getting the account back

Buy her a stealth account from the market place. And a big bunch of flowers. I got banned years ago and took my partners eBay my mum's,my dad's and 2 sisters along with me. They were all at different addresses. Lol. I know your pain

she is not using her mom's information,her mom Paypal account was banned with hers due to sharing the same WIFI.
Your mom need to call Paypal,not You

If its a legit account keep fighting youl get it back
