Default Is it all worth it?

So I had my eBay account suspended on an MC011 last night, and after doing some research around it seems I can probably get it reinstated after sending off loads of docs but its unlikely that I'll ever be able to do what I was doing previously (arbitrage from amazon and a couple other online retailers).

Reading these forums seems the best way is to forget trying to get my account reinstated and focus on creating stealth accounts.

My journey is that I have only been doing this for a couple weeks, starting off as a total noob by manually finding products and writing listings on eBay, I had 45 products listed and was selling about 3 products a day on average making a £30 daily profit..

Then discovered a couple days ago things such as auto listing from amz-ebay and even auto payment and auto fulfilment, this led me to think it wouldnt be particularly difficult to scale up to 450 products making £300/day, and who knows where from there..

Then BAM! account restricted.. before i even started having much fun..

So my choice now is to either go more legit and dropship via a shopify site (I'd already started this but put it on the backburner), although theres the asssociated costs in this such as fb and insta ads, or alterntively get more engrossed in jungle scout and try to cobble together an amazon FBA store.

OR..

put time and effort and investment into getting stealth eBay accounts off the ground but have the constant worry of getting shut down again and have to restart..

What are the more experienced members of this forum opinions on this.. is it viable to get up to 500 products on a stealth account quite easily?

In my humble opinion as some one that has never dropshipped. It was difficult getting stealths made back in 2019 trying to sell items that I own and hold stock of.

I can only imagine it will be near impossible to do what you want to do without months of establishing the account first.

I would find another way to make money as your primary source but then 'try' and establish some ebays on the side ... if it doesn't work it's all good you have your primary source of income from elsewhere. Otherwise you will be really depressed in several months if ebay ban you again.

Also try and get your account reinstated. It's all a learning curve. See what they want. Come back here and report ... you will get plenty of advise.
