Using an old personal account??
 

Hi,
Ive never had a personal account banned only a business one which was set up as a ltd company and I'm still confused as to why it was.
I only ever used it to buy things but I suspect it was due to always using on a personal hotspot instead of using a dedicated static IP. Ebay refuse to talk to me now and just keep cutting me off.

My question is, if I used an old aged personal account with all my personal details on but changed them to business details, address, phone number, email etc, if that account got banned would that then blacklist my personal details?

Do ebay keep track of all details that have been changed on there system or do they only link account by the current details?

As im writing this it does feel like a stupid question as I'm sure they do!!

The question is NOT that stupid..well..only being kind to You :yar: Personally, have been there -- done the same -- got busted --lesson learnt..Lol

Always a good policy not to change registration info - things like phone number or bank info can be added and set to primary, sort of
