Bank Letter
 

Been using a stealth acc pretty successfully, linked to a seperate bank account, in my real name, provided by TSB

Recieved a letter from them, disputing my transactions, wanting to know where they came from and proove identifiction (within 14 days)

I presume because the payments are coming from a paypal not in my name...

Has anybody ever had this? I dont know if I should call them or just ignore it and let them close the bank account, There is currently nothing in there as I move it straight out.

I dont even know what Id say, I used a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name?!

Any advice appreciated

no need to admit anything, just close it, there is no money in it, so that makes it easier decision.

I have had this happen like 10 years ago on a Canadian bank account (just for reference). Since there wasn't much in it, it wasn't worth my time to work it out with them - the bank simply closed it and gave a "parting ways kind of letter". Went back to them a year later or so to consider opening new account and they were happy to do so

accepting deposits meant for someone else could give the bank a lot of headache,banks in US have disallowed endorsed checks,why should they allow the same in cyberspace?
