getting this on 4 stealth non buissness accounts 1 mes each

eBay will now manage how you get paid.

This means:

No more PayPal fees

•


You get paid directly to your bank account, not your PayPal account

We just need some additional information so you can be paid directly to your bank account.

Yeah i got this too.

Seems Ebay want to dispense with PayPal and deal direct with all payments.
It seems all costs are deducted directly from any sale with the remainder being then paid direst into your bank account.

Any idea how this will impact stealth accounts?

Just reading threads on the ebay community forums. It's happening. MP being rolled out on to private sellers now.

Damn this is serious. I was (we all were) hoping that private sellers would be hit within 3 years, but not now!

Hopefully we can find a solution, but many accounts will be wiped by March 2021. Sad but true...

Just spent a silly amount on stock for xmas and this news has come along. And just logged in to one of my stealths now to find the dreaded email has arrived on it.

The difference between that stealth and the other stealths. It has turned over more in sales so they are definitely targeting sellers that have sold a lot.

My advice would be to create more private accounts and keep sales under 10k on them all.

Just briefly loaded up the pages to register. It looks simpler than how it did on my business account which asked for way more information by the looks of it.

But I am guessing they are going to do an electoral roll check which was fine using my real details ... but what about stealth info ?

How much you guys sell per month on those personal accounts you got invites to MP? And how long you are selling on them ?

Had another 2 today, thats 4 of my stealth accounts now.

So hypothetically all my stealth account have legit addresses but made up names.

The bank accounts in Paypal, if money was demanded from it are in my real name, hence as per stealth you leave a cash float in it all the time to cover this.

So if Ebay were to sell my goods and from the sale price deduct their costs/fee there would be no need for them to go to my bank account to request cash?

The issue here looks like if there are ever any buyer issues where there is a return as the paypal cash float wont be there so its straight to your bank for a withdrawal and the real name comes up?

Thsi is unless Ebay decide to do ID checks against account name and the legal person at the address..

THAT is the problem.

Which I believe they are. I am yet to see anyone confirm that on UK accounts you can just submit creative docs and get in to MP.

My first MP account is legit with my real info using my banned details from years ago. They let me back on most likely because I created a limited company and because I am performing well. But I can't keep making LTD's for every single stealth account.

I definitely need 2 more stores to survive as the stores are doing well and the combined income is how I live so I realistically only have 1 or 2 accounts I can 'experiment' with when the time comes. The account that they are asking to join MP at the moment is one I can't risk losing though so i'm not in any position "to give it a go" so to speak and really hoping somebody else can share their methods.
