Managed Payments On Stealth Business Account UK

HI All.

I have a stealth Business Account.

I have received a message.

I can no longer create new listings or renew listings as I have not registered for Managed Payments.

Has anyone successfully been through this process in the UK?

I hope to hear from you all.

Yes, I've got one of my stealth business accounts through MP. There's loads of threads and info on this forum, get a cup of tea and start reading.

And let's help each other figure out a better solution. I successfully have passed 2 out of 10 stealth accounts for MP. But I still haven't really figured out the real basis on how they approve the accounts.

OK, so I went through the process and submitted all the docs they wanted, and this morning I receive an 841 error.

The account has been suspended, the message says it can not be appealed.

Am I right in saying that the account is now goosed?

Yep I’m afraid so. I’ve had the same issues twice and so have others. We’re the documents real or full stealth?

I'm yet to see UK Sellers on UK accounts successfully getting through submitting "stealth" info when transitioning to managed payments.

Don't do it is my advice. Submit your real information at that stage if you still value your account ...

Yes we can still get banned at a later date but atleast we can carry on trading until then and it's entirely ebays discretion whether they want us to generate fees for them or to leave their site (to one of many competitors I might add) based on a historic ban from years ago.

On a positive note atleast you came back here and told everyone about your experience. So thank you for that.

I personally wish my weakest account was invited to MP first so I could have experimented with stealth docs myself.
